Tour Details
The USS Arizona Memorial is the one attraction that every visitor to Hawaii should see. The best way to experience the Arizona Memorial is with a Pearl Harbor tour. One of our most popular Oahu Private tours, our Arizona Memorial and Honolulu City Tour offers a hassle-free Pearl Harbor experience. We will pick you up privately from your hotel in Waikiki, the Honolulu Port, or the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport and take you to Pearl Harbor for the USS Arizona Battleship. The tickets are included, so you won’t have to worry about getting them on your own or waiting in line. We will take you to Pearl Harbor in a nicely appointed minivan. Unlike group tours on a bus with many stops, the advantage of a private tour is that we will only pick up your party. The driver will take you into the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, give you a professional orientation, and present the Arizona Memorial tickets directly to you. From there, you will have a chance to see the two Pearl Harbor Museums, “Road to War” and “Attack.” Both of these will provide you with context regarding the reasons, planning, and aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbor. An audio tour is available but not included in this tour, and you are free to rent it on your own from the Arizona Memorial Audio Desk if you choose to. There are also a number of outdoor exhibits for you to look through, such as the USS Arizona’s Anchor, the sculpture “The Lone Sailor,” which is dedicated to everyone in the sea services, past, present, and future, and the Waterfront Submarine Memorial which is dedicated to all US submarines lost in WWII. Then, go aboard the shuttle bus to Ford Island and head to the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. The Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum is housed in the hangars of the former Ford Island Naval Air Station. The museum’s collection includes a variety of aircraft from WWII to the Gulf War. Today, it is the only Aviation Museum in the US that is also a battlefield. The hangars that house the museum still have visible damage from the attack on Pearl Harbor. An audio set is included with the admission. After Pearl Harbor, we will take you on a short drive-through tour of historic Downtown Honolulu. This drive-through tour includes the famous landmarks in Honolulu’s capital. This tour features historic landmarks such as the Golden Statue of King Kamehameha, Hawaii’s unifier and first King, Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on US Soil, and Punchbowl Cemetery, known as the Arlington of the Pacific. After the tour, we will return you back to your pickup location.
