Tour Details
The Island of Hawaii offers visitors a chance to enjoy a slower-paced lifestyle than if you were staying on Oahu. If you are staying in Hilo, there are many tour options that you may choose from, including the ever-popular Pearl Harbor Tours from Hilo. With these options, you can choose the slower pace of the Big Island without having to miss out on going to Pearl Harbor to see the USS Arizona Memorial, which is the number one attraction in the state of Hawaii. With the Pearl Harbor, USS Arizona Memorial, and Waikiki tour from Hilo, you will fly over to Oahu using the included round-trip airline tickets. When you arrive in Honolulu, we will pick you up at the Honolulu International Airport. We will transport you to the Pearl Harbor National Memorial in a clean, fully insured, and comfortable vehicle. Enjoy a bottle of water or a can of tropical Hawaiian juice when you arrive at Pearl Harbor. Our friendly and professional driver/tour guide will lead you into the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, give you a professional orientation, and present you with the Arizona Memorial tickets, which will allow you to visit the USS Arizona Memorial Monument. While you are exploring the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, take the time to see the Two Pearl Harbor Museums. The two Pearl Harbor Museums are called “Road to War” and “Attack.” In these museums, you will learn about the reasons, planning, and aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbor. There are many additional outdoor exhibits for you to see, such as the USS Arizona’s Bell, the sculpture “Tree of Life,” which is an art installation inspired by the design of the Arizona Memorial, and the Waterfront Submarine Memorial, which is dedicated to all US submarines lost in WWII. After Pearl Harbor, we will take you on a short drive-through tour of historic Downtown Honolulu. This drive-through tour includes the famous landmarks in Honolulu’s capital as well as some of the most iconic and beautiful scenes on Oahu. This tour features historic landmarks such as the Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on US Soil, and the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl Crater, known as the Arlington of the Pacific. See the Golden Statue of King Kamehameha, Hawaii’s unifier and first King. Then it will be off to the east side of Oahu to see popular attractions such as the Blow Hole at Halona, Makapuu Point, and the Kahala Neighborhood, Hawaii’s Beverly Hills. Then, you will be dropped off in Waikiki to walk around, shop, have a bite to eat, or just take in the view of this most famous tourist destination. The driver will then pick you up for a return to the Honolulu International Airport for your departing flight back to Hilo.
