Tour Details
Kona, on the Island of Hawaii, is a popular destination for many people who visit the Aloha State. While on your Hawaiian vacation, you will want to book some Hawaii tours, and the most popular tours are Pearl Harbor Tours. Our Pearl Harbor Tour from Kona is a wonderful and convenient option for anyone who is staying in Kona. With this tour, you will use the included round-trip airline tickets to fly to the Island of Oahu to see the most popular attraction in Hawaii, the USS Arizona Memorial. The Arizona Memorial Monument is one of the four Pearl Harbor historic sites. Aside from the reserved tickets for the Arizona Memorial, this tour also includes tickets to see the USS Bowfin submarine, the USS Missouri battleship, and the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. When you land in Oahu, you will be picked up for your tour in a clean, fully insured vehicle with a small group of people. When you arrive at Pearl Harbor, we will provide a can of tropical Hawaiian Juice or bottled water. Our friendly driver/guide will walk you into the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, give you an orientation, and present the reserved Arizona Memorial tickets, as well as the other Pearl Harbor tickets, directly to you. This Pearl Harbor Tour includes tickets to the Arizona Memorial, the USS Bowfin submarine, the USS Missouri battleship, and the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. Explore Pearl Harbor and take the time to see two Pearl Harbor Museums, “Road to War” and “Attack.” Here, you will gain valuable insight into the reasons, planning, and aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbor. There are various outdoor exhibits for you to explore, such as the USS Arizona’s anchor, the sculpture “The Tree of Life,” which matches the design found on the Arizona Memorial, and the Waterfront Submarine Memorial which is dedicated to all US submarines lost in WWII. Visit the USS Bowfin and the Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum. The USS Bowfin is a submarine that fought in WWII, sinking up to 44 enemy vessels. You will also have a chance to visit the Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum. An audio set is included with the admission. Take the shuttle bus to Ford Island and go aboard the famous battleship USS Missouri. The USS Missouri was the last US battleship. She served in WWII, Korea, and the Gulf War. She is the location of the Japanese Surrender at the end of WWII and was featured in movies. Then, head over to the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. America’s only aerial battlefield. The hangars housing the museum were present during the Japanese attack and still bear the damage caused by that day. The Aviation Museum has a collection of aircraft ranging from WWII to the Gulf War. Then, we will take you on a short drive-through tour of historic Downtown Honolulu. This drive-through tour includes the famous landmarks in Honolulu’s capital. This tour features historic landmarks such as the Golden Statue of King Kamehameha, Hawaii’s unifier and first King, Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on US Soil, and Punchbowl Cemetery, known as the Arlington of the Pacific. The driver/tour guide will then return you to the Honolulu International Airport for your departing flight back to Kona.
