Tour Details
The USS Arizona Memorial is the one attraction that every visitor to Hawaii should see. The best way to experience the Arizona Memorial is with a Pearl Harbor tour. One of our most popular Oahu Private tours, our Arizona Memorial and Honolulu City Tour offers a hassle-free Pearl Harbor experience. We will pick you up privately from your hotel in Waikiki, the Honolulu Port, or the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport and take you to Pearl Harbor for the USS Arizona Battleship. The tickets are included, so you won’t have to worry about getting them on your own or waiting in line. We will take you to Pearl Harbor in a nicely appointed minivan. Unlike group tours on a bus with many stops, the advantage of a private tour is that we will only pick up your party. The driver will take you into the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, give you a professional orientation, and present the Arizona Memorial tickets directly to you. From there, you will have a chance to see the two Pearl Harbor Museums, “Road to War” and “Attack.” Both of these will provide you with context regarding the reasons, planning, and aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbor. An audio tour is available but not included in this tour, and you are free to rent it on your own from the Arizona Memorial Audio Desk if you choose to. There are also a number of outdoor exhibits for you to look through, such as the USS Arizona’s Anchor, the sculpture “The Lone Sailor,” which is dedicated to everyone in the sea services, past, present, and future, and the Waterfront Submarine Memorial which is dedicated to all US submarines lost in WWII. With the included ticket, visit the USS Bowfin and Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum is included in this package. The USS Bowfin is a submarine that fought in WWII, sinking up to 44 enemy vessels. You will also have a chance to see the Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum. Then, head over to Ford Island to see the USS Missouri Battleship. The USS Missouri is a battleship that fought in WWII and is the location of the Japanese surrender at the end of the war. An audio set and a guided deck tour are included with the admission. Before going to the Missouri Battleship, take some time to visit the USS Oklahoma Memorial next to the entrance to the USS Missouri.
After Pearl Harbor, we will take you on a short drive-through tour of historic Downtown Honolulu. This drive-through tour includes the famous landmarks in Honolulu’s capital. This tour features historic landmarks such as the Golden Statue of King Kamehameha, Hawaii’s unifier and first King, Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on US Soil, and Punchbowl Cemetery, known as the Arlington of the Pacific. After the tour, we will return you back to your pickup location.
