Tour Details
While planning your trip to Hawaii, the one thing that you should add to your plans is a USS Arizona Memorial and USS Missouri battleship tour. If you prefer a slower, quieter environment for your stay in Hawaii, the Island of Kauai is just what you need. Even then, you should not pass up on the chance to fly to Oahu to see the most visited attraction in Hawaii. If you are staying on the Island of Kauai, we can provide the perfect tour for you to go to the Pearl Harbor National Memorial to see the Arizona Memorial Monument. Our Island-Hopping tour from Kauai includes round-trip airline tickets for you to fly over to Oahu and see the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor. When you land on Oahu, we will pick you up at the Honolulu International Airport for your tour. You will be picked up on Oahu in a clean, fully insured, and air-conditioned vehicle in a small group. We will provide a can of tropical Hawaiian Juice or bottled water when you arrive at Pearl Harbor. Our friendly driver/tour guide will walk you into the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, and he will provide a professional orientation and present the reserved Arizona Memorial tickets directly to you. This Pearl Harbor Tour includes tickets to the Arizona Memorial and the USS Missouri battleship. The reserved tickets for the Arizona Memorial and USS Missouri are included, so you won’t have to worry about getting them on your own or standing in line for them. Explore the two Pearl Harbor Museums, “Road to War” and “Attack.” Both of these will provide you with historical background regarding the reasons, planning, and aftermath of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. There are many outdoor exhibits for you to appreciate, such as the USS Arizona’s anchor, which was salvaged from Pearl Harbor after the attack. The sculpture “The Lone Sailor” is dedicated to everyone in the sea services, past, present, and future. The Waterfront Submarine Memorial is dedicated to all US submarines and their crew who were lost in WWII. The tickets for the USS Missouri are included in this package. The USS Missouri is a famous battleship that fought in WWII, Korea, and the Gulf War. She was the location of the Japanese Surrender at the end of the war. This famous battleship has also been featured in movies. An audio set is included with the admission. Alternatively, you can choose to see the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum instead of the USS Missouri. The Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum is known as America’s only aviation museum that is also on an aerial battlefield. The two hangars housing the museum were present during the Japanese attack on December 7, 1941. The Museum houses a large variety of aircraft from WWII to the Gulf War, including some truly unique aircraft such as the place President George HW Bush flew as a trainee pilot. Then, we will take you on a short drive-through tour of historic Downtown Honolulu. This drive-through tour includes the famous landmarks in Honolulu’s capital. This tour features historic landmarks such as the Golden Statue of King Kamehameha, Hawaii’s unifier and first King, Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on US Soil, and Punchbowl Cemetery, known as the Arlington of the Pacific. Then, you will be returned to the Honolulu International Airport for your departing flight back to Kauai.
