When you land, we will pick you up from the Honolulu International Airport for your tour. When you arrive in Honolulu, you will be picked up in a clean, fully insured vehicle as part of a small group. When you arrive at Pearl Harbor, you will be presented with a can of tropical Hawaiian Juice or bottled water. The driver/guide will take you into the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, give you a professional orientation, and present the reserved Arizona Memorial tickets directly to you. This Pearl Harbor Tour includes tickets to the Arizona Memorial and the USS Bowfin submarine. The pre-arranged tickets are included for both, so you won’t have to worry about getting them on your own or hassle with standing in line for them. You will have a chance to see the two Pearl Harbor Museums, “Road to War” and “Attack.” Both of these will provide you with context regarding the reasons, planning, and aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbor. There are some outdoor exhibits for you to explore, such as the USS Arizona’s anchor, the sculpture “The Lone Sailor,” which is dedicated to everyone in the sea services, past, present, and future, and the Waterfront Submarine Memorial, which is dedicated to all US submarines lost in WWII. The tickets for the USS Bowfin and the Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum are included in this package. The USS Bowfin is a submarine that fought in WWII, sinking up to 44 enemy vessels. Your ticket will also let you visit the Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum. An audio set is included with the admission. Then, we will take you on a short drive-through tour of historic Downtown Honolulu. This drive-through tour includes the famous landmarks in Honolulu’s capital. This tour features historic landmarks such as the Golden Statue of King Kamehameha, Hawaii’s unifier and first King, Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on US Soil, and Punchbowl Cemetery, known as the Arlington of the Pacific. Then, you will be dropped off in Waikiki to walk around, shop, have a bite to eat, or just take in the scenery. You will see why Waikiki is the most famous tourist destination in Hawaii. The driver will then pick you up for a return to the Honolulu International Airport for your departing flight back to Kona.

Itinerary

We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations in the world.

Step 1 – Trasfer to Pearl Harbor

We will pick you up from the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport and take you to the Pearl Harbor National Memorial. Your pickup to the Arizona Memorial will be as part of a small group in a nicely appointed van, driven by a nice driver/tour guide.

Step 2 – Pearl Harbor tour orientation and USS Arizona Memorial ticket

When you arrive at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial, you will be given a complimentary bottle of water. The driver/tour guide will take you into the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center and give you a professional orientation and present your Arizona Memorial Ticket directly to you.

Step 3 – Tour of USS Arizona Memorial

Take the opportunity to see the National Park Service documentary about the Attack on Pearl Harbor. When it is your time to go to the USS Arizona Memorial, you will board the US Navy operated shuttle boat for your trip to the Arizona Memorial which is built over the wreck of the USS Arizona Battleship.

Step 4 – Pearl Harbor Museums and Visitor Center
Explore the two Pearl Harbor Museums, Road to War and Attack. These museums will give you important perspective on the planning, execution and aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Take some time to view the various out door exhibits and displays.


Step 5 – USS Bowfin and Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum

Visit the USS Bowfin Submarine also known as the Pearl Harbor Avenger. Go below decks to see what the conditions were like for the men who served aboard this WWII submarine.

Step 6 -Departure from Pearl Harbor
Meet up with your driver/tour guide for your departure from Pearl Harbor


Step 7 – Historical Down Town Honolulu City Tour
Take a short ride through Down Town Honolulu to see the most important historical landmarks in Hawaiian History.


Step 8 – Waikiki

Step 9 – Transfer back to the Airport
