This Oahu Private tour is one of our most popular tours and offers a wonderful hassle-free Pearl Harbor experience. We will pick you up privately from your hotel in Waikiki and take you to Pearl Harbor for the Arizona Memorial and the submarine USS Bowfin. The tickets are included for both, so you won’t have to worry about getting them on your own. Rather than a group tour where they will pick you up on a bus along with many other people, our private tour means that only your party will be picked up. We will take you to Pearl Harbor in a nicely appointed minivan. The driver will take you into the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center and give you a professional orientation. From there, you will have a chance to see the two Pearl Harbor Museums, “Road to War” and “Attack.” Both of these will provide you with context regarding the reasons, planning, and aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbor. An audio tour is available but not included in this tour, and you are free to rent it from the Arizona Memorial Audio Desk on your own if you choose to. There are also a number of outdoor exhibits for you to look through, such as the USS Arizona’s Bell, the sculpture “the Lone Sailor,” which is dedicated to everyone in the sea services, past, present, and future, and the Waterfront Submarine Memorial which is dedicated to all US submarines lost in WWII. The ticket for the USS Bowfin and Submarine Museum is included in this package. The USS Bowfin is a submarine that fought in WWII, sinking up to 44 enemy vessels. You will also have a chance to see the Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum. An audio set is included with the admission. After Pearl Harbor, we will take you on a short drive-through tour of historic Downtown Honolulu. This drive-through tour includes the famous landmarks in Honolulu’s capital. This tour features historic landmarks such as the Golden Statue of King Kamehameha, Hawaii’s unifier and first King, Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on US Soil, and Punchbowl Cemetery, known as the Arlington of the Pacific. After the tour, we will return you back to your Waikiki hotel.
