This tour is a short hassle-free small group tour. We will pick you up from your hotel in Waikiki and take you to Pearl Harbor for the Arizona Memorial. The tickets are included, so you won’t have to worry about getting them on your own. Pickups begin in Waikiki, and from there, we will take you to Pearl Harbor in a nicely appointed van. The driver will take you into the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center and give you an orientation. From there, you will have a chance to see the two Pearl Harbor Museums, “Road to War” and “Attack.” Both of these will provide you with context regarding the reasons, planning, and aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbor. An audio tour is available but not included in this tour, and you are free to rent it from the Arizona Memorial Audio Desk if you choose to. There are also a number of outdoor exhibits for you to look through, such as the USS Arizona’s Anchor, the sculpture “Tree of Life,” which shares the same design that is found on the Arizona Memorial, and the Waterfront Submarine Memorial, which is dedicated to all US submarines lost in WWII. We will return you back to Waikiki after the tour.
